Dry Street Memorial Church is a small, friendly Christian fellowship that meets on Sunday mornings at 10 am.
We have people join us from Langdon Hills, Basildon, Fobbing, Corringham, Stanford-le-Hope, Grays, Benfleet and even further afield.
We are an interdenominational church. This means we are not affiliated to any particular Christian denomination (e.g. Methodist or Baptist). Instead, we come from a variety of different backgrounds – and sometimes none.
Our worship is open and inclusive, mixing traditional hymns with modern worship songs.
Our very experienced minister, Gordon Bates, leads one or two services each month, with visiting speakers or members of the congregation leading others.
We are always keen to meet new friends and would welcome a visit from you. If you are curious to learn more about the Christian faith, or are simply looking for a supportive community of friends, why not pop in for a service at 10 am?
Or if that feels too much, you could come and say hello over coffee, just after 11 am.
Hope to see you soon!
